Billy" Freeman, died on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.Born in Marion, she was a daughter of Ithel Thomas Brown and Flossie Martin Brown. Mrs. Freeman attended First Presbyterian Church. She was a retired registered nurse at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.Surviving are her husband; a son, Ithel Emmanuel "Emmett" Freeman and wife, Susan; two grandchildren, Emma Grace and Charlie Freeman; three stepchildren, Tammy, Will and Johnny Freeman and wife, Angie, all of Sumter; one step-grandchild, Tony Freeman of Sumter; and a niece, Betsy Spires of Gallivants Ferry.She was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Brown.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. Nick Cheek officiating.
